Description
Ferris lives with her grandfather, Professor Matthews, in his secluded forest villa. His work as a scientist, especially with malfunction-prone robots and machinery, causes her some dissatisfaction. She embodies a typical contemporary urban teenager, favoring modern fashion and prioritizing socializing with friends.
Her life is suddenly endangered by a critical oversight from her grandfather and his colleague, Professor Slade. Professor Matthews designated Ferris as the target for a functional test of his new M-66 military androids. This test selection turned deadly when Professor Slade neglected to remove the dummy assassination program before the androids were transported. After a helicopter crash triggered by an unspecified incident, the activated androids begin their mission: to locate and terminate her.
Initially unaware of the danger, Ferris is socializing with friends at Ramplings restaurant in the city when freelance journalist Sybel arrives to warn her. Skeptical, Ferris is reluctant to believe Sybel or follow her instructions. Her demeanor shifts to cooperation only after Sybel explicitly reveals the androids' lethal intent. From this point, Ferris's role shifts entirely to survival, dependent on Sybel's protection and the defensive actions of the military's Special Operations Forces against the pursuing android.
Throughout the relentless pursuit across the city and into a skyscraper, Ferris acts as a civilian caught in extreme circumstances. She follows Sybel's directives during their escape, ascending the building while the military struggles to impede the android. The confrontation culminates on the collapsing upper floors after the android damages the structure battling a military gunship. Ferris is rescued alongside Sybel by a military aircraft following the android's defeat.
After the incident, the military orchestrates a cover-up, publicly blaming the destruction on a terrorist attack. Her physical description includes yellow or blonde hair and grey eyes.
