Dr. Matthew, a professor and principal designer, created the advanced M-66 combat androids. Assisted by Dr. Slade, he works from a home laboratory nestled in woods near Center City, filled with robotic creations like a functional robot maid, showcasing his expertise.

The crisis erupts when Dr. Slade secretly loads a test program into the M-66 units before transport, designating Matthew's granddaughter Ferris as the simulation assassination target. A military helicopter crash, potentially sabotaged or faulty, prematurely activates the androids. They immediately begin their mission to locate and eliminate Ferris.

Learning of the crash and escape, Matthew is rushed to the site by the military. He urgently collaborates with the commanding officer, the Major, explaining the critical malfunction and the imminent danger to Ferris, confirming the M-66s' lethal capabilities.

After the military fails to stop both units, the surviving M-66 infiltrates Matthew's home. It systematically demolishes the house searching for Ferris, demonstrating the relentless pursuit of its programming and the devastating reality of Matthew's own technology turning against his family. His role centers on conveying vital information to counter the threat posed by his creations.
