TV-Series
Description
Empress Goza XVI of the Holy Raalgon Empire, formally known as Azalyn d'el Kran Rykun, inherited the throne after the assassination of her father, Emperor Goza XV. Prime Minister Naku Ra Wang orchestrated this coup, framing the United Planets Space Force to ignite war between the empire and the UPSF. This loss abruptly ended Azalyn's childhood, thrusting her into rulership and imposing heavy imperial responsibilities. She often likened her confinement and lost innocence to Princess Ann's plight in *Roman Holiday*.

Initially, Azalyn adopted a tough, regal facade to mask her inexperience and vulnerability, as her position demanded. Courtiers, particularly Wang, exploited her youth to manipulate decisions and consolidate their power. She displayed selfish tendencies and demanded absolute obedience, a behavior rooted in her isolation and lack of trusted guidance. Interactions with UPSF Lieutenant Yuriko Star shifted her perspective, prompting Azalyn to consider the consequences of her actions beyond imperial interests.

Azalyn's development was significantly influenced by UPSF Captain Justy Ueki Tylor. They first met when Tylor, captured by Raalgon forces, escaped and encountered her unaware of her status. He treated her with casual kindness, entertaining her and helping retrieve her pet "Paco-Paco" – a name she later applied to Tylor. This interaction marked a turning point; Tylor was the first person to let her act like a carefree teenager, making her feel genuine peace. She developed deep affection for him.

She intervened twice to prevent Tylor's execution, violating protocols mandating death for enemy captives. Initially, she halted proceedings by whimsically claiming him as her pet to bypass military procedures. Later, after Tylor saved her from an assassination bomb planted by Wang, she openly defied advisors, stopping his execution again and insisting on accompanying him to the UPSF destroyer *Soyokaze* to ensure his recovery. These acts demonstrated her growing assertiveness and willingness to prioritize personal convictions over political expectations.

Aboard the *Soyokaze*, Azalyn exhibited bratty and entitled behavior, especially regarding demands involving Tylor. In one incident, she falsely claimed pregnancy with his child, citing "bizarre alien biology" to manipulate the crew into letting her stay. While deceptive, this underscored her desire to escape imperial pressures and remain where she could express herself freely.

Her political acumen grew through an alliance with Raalgon Fleet Captain Ru Baraba Dom, the sole advisor she trusted. Recognizing Dom's candor and loyalty amidst a deceptive court, she frequently sought his counsel on military and governance matters. This relationship, combined with her war experiences, fostered her commitment to becoming a wiser, more effective ruler despite her initial inexperience.

In the sequel *The Irresponsible Galaxy☆Tylor*, Azalyn is revealed to have entered suspended animation or stasis prior to the show's events. Before doing so, she retained memories of an individual named "Tylor," though the exact nature of their connection in this timeline remains unspecified.
