After Ishtar encountered human culture and music on Earth, Lady Elensh was assigned to conduct her deprogramming and purification aboard the Sarride. During this procedure, Ishtar sang an Earth song, introducing forbidden cultural contamination to the vessel. Upon discovering this contamination, Emperor Ingues commanded the Sarride's immediate annihilation. Lady Elensh died alongside the ship's commander, Volf, and the entire crew when a Marduk cruiser obliterated the Sarride to execute Ingues's purge order.
