Description
Based on the 1974 anime adaptation, Majin Dringer (also referenced as Doringer) serves as the central antagonist orchestrating the invasion of Nandemoland. He dispatches minions like Baron Bat and Black to execute his destructive plans of conquest and exploitation. Dringer specifically commands Baron Bat to kidnap Nina, Jim's mother, after she survives a petrification attack that turns other adults to stone. He forces Nina to create a magically impenetrable Cloak of Defense for his personal use. Simultaneously, his minion Black uses transformation bullets under Dringer's orders, turning most of Nandemoland's children into animals; Jim's friend Pokko becomes a bird. A stray transformation bullet intended for Jim accidentally hits the steam locomotive Emma, granting her unexpected sentience and mobility independent of tracks.

Dringer's Cloak of Defense initially renders him invulnerable to conventional attacks. This tactical advantage is overcome when Pokko, in her avian form, manages to untie the cloak's fastening string, nullifying its protection and leaving him vulnerable. His role concludes with defeat following the cloak's disabling. The character lacks explicit backstory, motivations beyond his depicted villainy, or narrative redemption within the anime. An image song titled "My Name is Demon Doringer" exists, but its lyrics provide no additional character background. This character appears exclusively within this anime series.
