Description
Pīko, known in some English-language releases as Pee Wee, is one of the three main characters of the anime Chirorin Mura Monogatari. She is a peanut who lives in Chirorin Village and is around elementary school age, being part of a main cast described as schoolchildren. Her home is a bakery in the village, where she lives with an adult guardian referred to as the pumpkin uncle.
Pīko is introduced as a longtime resident of the village and a very close friend of Tompei the onion. The two are inseparable playmates, and together with Kuruko the walnut they form a tight-knit trio of friends known as Tonkurupii, which is rendered as the Kooky Kids in localized versions. Pīko holds the role of one of the story's three protagonists, and the series follows the everyday adventures and mischief of this trio.
In terms of personality, Pīko is cheerful and very talkative, always ready to chatter.
