Vice Minister Brennan holds a minor role in Chapter 2 of the manga and Episode 2 of the anime. As Vice Minister of Ostania's Auditing Department, he is identified as a traitor to the nation. This betrayal marks him for assassination by the Garden operative known as the Thorn Princess. Brennan is shown in Room 1307 of The Royal Hotel, meeting with several men in suits. The Thorn Princess interrupts this meeting, executing Brennan and his associates.
