This passion led her to specialize in the Gallian language at the naval academy, where she maintains a habit of abstaining from alcohol. Her training period involved bullying from peers and instructors, experiences which shaped her development. Kanno's combat style stems from a "vigorous fighting spirit," frequently involving extreme proximity attacks on targets. This aggressive approach resulted in numerous collisions and significant damage to her Striker Units, earning her the nickname "Destroyer." It also honed her expertise in close-range evasion tactics.
Appointed Pilot Officer, she deployed with the European Dispatch Fleet for Operation Barbarossa, supporting ground units during the Petersburg Invasion Operation before assuming defensive duties in Petersburg itself.
