Description
Shinobu Tsukiyama, a ten-year-old heir to a mountain-dwelling ninja lineage in Yamagata Prefecture, commands exceptional physical prowess honed through lifelong ninjutsu training—stealth, agility, and pinpoint accuracy with shurikens. Steeped in the rhythms of rural life, he harbors an innate bond with the forests guarding his ancestral home, vigilantly shielding them from harm. Though initially guarded and solitary, shaped by rigid discipline, his tenure at the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute’s Ōmiya Branch sparks gradual camaraderie. This reserved exterior clashes with flashes of vulnerability, such as defying plans to relinquish his role as a Shinkalion pilot.

He finds kinship with teammate Akita Oga through shared passions for wilderness and rustic traditions, though their exchanges reveal stark contrasts: Shinobu’s speech remains firmly rooted in Tōhoku dialect, while Akita fluidly shifts to standard Japanese. As pilot of the Shinkalion E3 Tsubasa and its Iron Wing upgrade, Shinobu’s combat strategy prioritizes blistering speed, evasive maneuvers, and ninja-derived subterfuge. The E3 Tsubasa mirrors his tactics with holographic decoys, cloaking systems, and a collapsible shuriken armament. Over time, he transitions from lone-wolf operations to synchronized teamwork, refining his strategic versatility.

His family—mother Chiaki, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather—initially inhabit a secluded mountain dwelling before relocating to Okinawa, a shift paralleling Shinobu’s ongoing role in global defense. A past affiliation with the shadowy Kitoralsus faction surfaces briefly, though specifics remain undisclosed. Navigating the interplay between ancestral legacy and cutting-edge technology, Shinobu’s journey traces his growth in combat mastery and emotional connectivity, anchored by quiet resolve and loyalty to both heritage and newfound allies.
