Movie
Description
The character known as "Shinca Gear" represents an alternate name or misinterpretation of Hokuto Hayasugi (速戸ホクト), a central figure in the Shinkalion franchise. Originally an adult engineer at the Shinkansen Ultra Evolution Institute and father to protagonist Hayato Hayasugi, Hokuto vanishes mysteriously during defense operations against an attack by space invaders Nahane and Ohanefu.
Subsequently, a nine-year-old version of Hokuto emerges from across time and space, displaced by phenomena involving "Glowing Particles." This younger Hokuto originates from a different temporal point than his adult self. Despite his youth and initial confusion, he wields advanced technical knowledge and exhibits exceptional compatibility with the Shinkalion ALFA-X, the Ultra Evolution Institute's secretly developed experimental prototype and ultimate defense weapon. This leads to his appointment as ALFA-X's primary pilot.
Driven by the dual mission of defending Earth from invading Giant Monstrous Beings and finding a path back to his original timeline, young Hokuto joins forces with Team Shinkalion. He collaborates with drivers from branches spanning Japan: Hokkaido, Yamagata, Ōmiya, Nagoya, Kyoto, and Moji. His resolve is fueled by the need to correct the timeline disruption and potentially reunite with his son Hayato in the correct era. Throughout the conflict, his engineering insights and innate bond with ALFA-X prove vital in countering the extraterrestrial threat.
His background as both a parent and a scientist shapes his strategic approach in battle, merging concern for teammates with technical precision. The unresolved tension between his displaced younger self and his missing adult self creates a personal stake, motivating his efforts to restore temporal stability while protecting the planet.
