Pururuu is a forest fairy dwelling within Apple Forest. She acts as companion and guide to Kitty White and Mimmy White on their adventures. Collaborating with Uncle Scotch the Owl, she helps plan surprises for the twins. Pururuu cautions against entering the perilous Twisted Forest. When the Momonga siblings target the twins' Candy House, Pururuu joins Kitty and Mimmy in chasing them into the Twisted Forest, leading to the siblings' fall through a magical portal to Parallel Town. After Mimmy vanishes in this parallel dimension, Pururuu aids Kitty in the desperate search for her sister. She accompanies Kitty across Parallel Town, encountering inhabitants like Emily, a green-haired elf girl pursuing modeling. Pururuu observes the conflict driven by Akuro, a black cat working for the evil wizard Makkuro to turn the world black. She directly opposes Akuro's plans, such as attempting to rescue the Momonga siblings when Akuro exploits them for a magic spell during a solar eclipse. Pururuu witnesses critical events, including Linda's transformation into "Black Linda" by a cursed black ring and Mimmy's eventual rescue. She remains with Kitty until Mimmy is safely recovered.
