Description
An adult rendered completely invisible, the Invisible Man goes unseen by society. He navigates daily life ignored by coworkers and automated systems, like doors that fail to register him. His condition extends beyond visual transparency, causing a gradual loss of physical permanence and near-weightlessness, risking uncontrolled ascent into the atmosphere. To anchor himself to the ground, he carries a fire extinguisher. While his form remains largely undetectable, environmental factors like rain or cuts may briefly reveal contours, such as a facial outline. Practical attire—a coat, scarf, helmet, and gloves—serves as the only visible sign of his presence.

His existence is defined by profound isolation and the struggle to perform basic tasks, such as operating a keyboard or riding a moped, portrayed with meticulous attention to his invisibility's challenges. A turning point occurs through an unexpected interaction: a perceptive elderly man acknowledges his existence, offering momentary connection. This precedes a critical incident where the Invisible Man witnesses an unattended baby stroller rolling into traffic. Seizing the opportunity, he uses his near-weightlessness—accelerated by being knocked off his moped—to propel himself toward the stroller. His intervention successfully rescues the infant, transforming his perceived disability into an instrumental ability.

This act of heroism, while not resolving his invisibility, signifies a pivotal moment of agency and purpose. The character's origins, name, and life beyond this event remain undefined, as does his background prior to becoming invisible. His development centers on the transition from passive existence to active heroism through a single decisive choice.
