Description
Den Shinchuu is an Elder of Ryukozan, wielding significant authority within the Tenshifu. He trained under the previous Tenshi in his youth alongside Zhang Zhi-Wei (later Rou Tenshi) and Cho Kaigi, forging close bonds with both.

In the lead-up to the Kōshin War, Cho Kaigi joined thirty-five other Outcasts in swearing brotherhood with Mukonsei, leader of the Zensei organization. The Ten Elders consequently issued a hunt for the thirty-six rebels. Den Shinchuu and Zhang Zhi-Wei pleaded with their teacher to recall Kaigi, but the Tenshi refused to countermand the Ten Elders' order. He implicitly permitted their actions, however, by stating any Tenshifu student within Ryokosan would remain protected.

Acting on this tacit approval, Den Shinchuu and Zhang Zhi-Wei secretly departed Ryukosan separately to find Kaigi. Den Shinchuu's mission ended in severe physical injury; he lost his legs during intense confrontations while searching. He later reported failing to locate Kaigi, though sources indicate his account may not fully align with the truth, suggesting undisclosed circumstances surrounding his failure.

Decades later, during the Raten Tournament, Den Shinchuu appears as a senior figure at Ryukozan. His advanced age places him among the long-lived veterans of the Kōshin War era, and he remains actively involved in Tenshifu affairs alongside Zhang Zhi-Wei and other elders like Riku Kin.
