Description
Noriko Sudou is a university student affiliated with her university's occult research club. She joins a summer break expedition alongside four fellow club members, seeking hidden Tokugawa-era treasure rumored to be within the university vaults. During this mission, the group uncovers two preserved female mummies. When fellow member Sayaka Kamoshida removes a jewel called the "stone of life" from one mummy, it inadvertently reanimates both entities, Euphrosyne Studion and Alma V, who immediately pursue the students to reclaim the stone.
Euphrosyne and Alma eliminate the other students, leaving Noriko as the sole survivor. In a subsequent confrontation involving Euphrosyne, Noriko is captured and used as a hostage by Mako Takanashi. Finding the hostage situation troublesome, Mako kills Noriko by throwing a shard of glass that pierces her head.
The next day, Alma V, having survived the events, approaches Noriko's lifeless body. Alma speaks to Noriko, instructing her to forget everything that transpired during the traumatic ordeal.
