Shuichiro Takanashi, a university lecturer secretly researching the supernatural "stone of life," maintains a facade of normalcy. His true nature is ruthless, employing manipulation and violence to achieve his goals. He exploits Sayaka Kamoshida's romantic feelings to orchestrate the theft of the stone from Euphrosyne Studion, triggering the central conflict. To demonstrate his brutality, he kills Euphrosyne's artificial human servant, Alma, directly before her. Later, he forcibly implants the stolen stone into his sister, Mako Takanashi, transforming her into an immortal being for his experiments. This grants Mako combat abilities and vitality surpassing Euphrosyne. His manipulation of Mako leads to his demise when she, exhibiting twisted affection, tears out his heart during their confrontation.
