Masahiro Abe is a second-year undergraduate student and member of the university's occult research club. Possessing a self-centered attitude disliked by most female club members, his proposal to seek hidden Tokugawa-era treasure spurs the group's break-in to the university vaults, initiating the main events. Abe is distinguished by his glasses and facial hair. During the vault exploration, he and the others discover two preserved female bodies. After fellow member Sayaka Kamoshida secretly takes a jewel from one body, the group departs, disappointed at not finding gold. Later, Euphrosyne kills Abe on-screen by crushing his skull with a toilet.
