Description
Sealed millennia ago in the Lost World dimension by deities like Gargantua Dragon, Vanity Husk Destroyer endured ancient imprisonment, forging the core of his existence and motivations. He surfaces in the present era, drawn by the profound negativity radiating from Ranma Kakogawa—a human consumed by despair and envy towards his former friend, Yuga Mikado.
Exploiting Ranma's emotional vulnerability, Vanity Husk Destroyer approaches him, posing as a powerful ally who recognizes Ranma's "pure heart," strength, and inner darkness. Through calculated praise and manipulation, he convinces Ranma to embrace these negative emotions and sever his bond with Yuga. This pact transforms Ranma into "Vile Ranma," enabling Vanity Husk Destroyer to manifest physically and advance his plans.
His primary objective is gathering "Minus energy" from humans harboring significant darkness, like Ranma and Eden Hanazono, to fuel his evolution and power. He strategically empowers allies such as Da-Dan with enhanced cards ("Lostrizers") to destabilize opponents. Viewing Ranma and his followers as expendable tools, he absorbs their energy, undergoing multiple transformations. After accumulating sufficient Minus energy from Ranma and Eden, he evolves into Vile Demonic Deity Dragon, Vanity Epoch Destroyer. Later, devouring the rebellious Dan Yamada as punishment and issuing warnings against betrayal, he ascends to Vile Demonic Husk Deity Dragon, Vanity End Destroyer.
His hidden true goal is revenge against the deities responsible for his sealing, a motive later deduced by the Buddy Police. Vanity Husk Destroyer possesses a unique, dangerous ability: defeating an opponent erases their memories. This creates high stakes in confrontations, particularly when Ranma faces Yuga, where loss risks permanent memory loss.
Following a decisive defeat, the Buddy Police arrest Vanity Husk Destroyer as an "illegal monster." During arrest, he surprisingly urges Ranma to reconcile with Yuga. Released later by the Buddy Police, he reunites with Ranma, suggesting a continuation of their partnership.
Physically, he manifests as a large, nightmarish dragon with green eyes, a red-and-black color scheme, and skull-like shoulder pads forming a protective shell. His evolved forms incorporate increasingly intimidating, cybernetic elements—terrifying armor with teeth-like designs, a robotic head structure, and dual tails—reflecting his escalating power and malice.
