Description
Miko Mikono operates her family's Mikono Cafe, renowned for its delicious, world-famous pizza. The cafe becomes a popular meeting place for Yuga Mikado and his friends. A dedicated subscriber to the RanGa Channel, Miko displays strong loyalty by refusing invitations to join other channels with questionable motives. Her personality blends sincerity—openly expressing desires like wanting a "big sister" figure upon meeting her buddy—and caring tendencies, especially visible when looking after Yuga's younger brother, Haru.

She shares a childhood history with Yuga Mikado, having attended the same preschool. Though Yuga initially forgets their early friendship due to separation upon entering different elementary schools, Miko recognizes him instantly upon seeing him in RanGa Channel content. This past connection resurfaces during the ABC Cup when Yuga remembers her during a group trip to Castle.

Miko has shoulder-length purple hair styled with two bells and clips resembling cat ears. She wears a sailor uniform with black and gold trims, a pastel pink skirt ending above the knees, and red boots extending above her ankles.

As a Buddyfighter, Miko uses a Katana World deck centered on the Electrodeity attribute. Her playstyle involves channeling—allowing Electrodeity monsters to temporarily possess her body during battles, granting her their powers and abilities. Her primary buddy is the Electrodeity of Light, Amaterasu, who assumes a small black cat form (SD form) with blue-tipped paws and tail, a bell collar, and a sun crown. Protective yet clumsy, Amaterasu frequently breaks dishes in the café and retreats into a box as self-imposed punishment. The two share a sister-like bond, with Amaterasu actively defending Miko from threats, such as forcibly possessing her to fend off danger.

Key events include Miko sheltering Yuga and Ranma from rain at her café, leading to their regular visits. During the ABC Cup, she accompanies the group to Castle, triggering Yuga's memory of their past. Dan Yamada later targets her, attempting to recruit her for his channel and kidnapping Amaterasu—though accidentally capturing Garcat instead. This provokes Miko's anger, resulting in the Electrodeity Ameno-Wakahiko possessing her to confront Dan. Miko ultimately defeats Dan in a Buddyfight without taking damage. Following the ABC Cup, she hosts a celebration for Yuga's victory, takes responsibility for comforting Haru when he cries, and later transfers to Aibo Academy. She remains observant of suspicious behavior, such as Dan's deceitful shift in demeanor, and vocally supports Yuga's efforts to defeat him.

Her relationships include a close, familial dynamic with Amaterasu and protectiveness toward Haru. She interacts with broader friend groups through the café and school activities. Her Buddyfight record includes losses to Yuga and victories against opponents like Dan, demonstrating her capability in combat when leveraging her channeling abilities.
