Description
Electrodeity of Light Amaterasu partners with Miko Mikono as her buddy monster in the *Future Card Buddyfight Ace* narrative. She first manifests during the ABC Cup tournament break to protect Miko, forging their bond. Well-meaning yet clumsy, Amaterasu frequently breaks plates while helping at the family cafe where Miko works. As self-punishment, she retreats into a box after these accidents. She demonstrates genuine care for Miko, adopting her small black cat "SD form" specifically because Miko likes cats. Her expressiveness shows through mannerisms like blushing, sulking, or cuddling, often accompanied by emotional onomatopoeia.

Amaterasu manifests in three primary forms:
- **SD Form**: A small black cat with blue-tipped paws and tail, yellow and red eyes, red eyeliner when eyes are closed, a bell collar, and a sun crown.
- **Electrodeity Form**: A majestic goddess wearing a velvet red-and-white robe with gold and brown accents, light black hair with blue highlights, and the sun crown.
- **Cafe Attire**: A red velvet dress with a white blouse, apron with bell, bolo tie, red velvet bow in her ponytail, long white stockings, and red shoes.

In combat, Amaterasu is a Katana World monster card with the Electrodeity attribute. Her card has a call cost requiring two gauge and a once-per-turn counter ability allowing her to either:
1. Place the top deck card into the gauge, gain 8000 power, and acquire Double Attack for the turn.
2. Restore two life points, draw a card, and gain 4000 defense for the turn.
An evolved card, "Sol Trilight, Amaterasu 'Wisteria Dance'", exists within the same world and attribute framework.

Beyond initial protection, Amaterasu works alongside Miko in the cafe following its makeover, wearing her cafe attire. Later, she displays jealousy during a conversation between Miko and Eden, resulting in another broken plate and retreat into the box. Her card's flavor text emphasizes her bond with Miko, referencing her as an "elder sister" figure offering guidance. Miko’s dueling strategy channels Electrodeity monsters like Amaterasu through item cards, enabling temporary possession to utilize their powers during fights.

Mythologically, Amaterasu draws inspiration from the Japanese sun goddess. Within the series' lore, she is identified as the daughter of Izanami, the goddess of birth and creation.
