His confinement ended when Gao Mikado accidentally freed him while seeking a new tournament partner, drawing Batzz into the World Buddy Masters tournament as Gao's buddy monster. Batzz exhibits explosively arrogant, selfish, and violent tendencies, often retaliating against perceived slights with electrical bursts or physical transformations. His pride and combativeness mask a keen perception, enabling him to spot deception readily. Beneath his hostile exterior lies inherent goodness, frequently obscured by self-centered actions. Deep-seated distrust, fueled by past manipulation from Wisdom's ancestor that contributed to Dragon World's downfall, shapes his behavior. He commands the "Thunder Empire," an army he established in Dragon World. Batzz's origins were humble; he and his followers were low-ranking dragons relegated to menial tasks, driving his relentless quest for ultimate power. Physically, Batzz manifests as a large dragon with dark grey scales, black horns, a red mane and eyebrows, and a prominent X-shaped scar. Golden thunder-patterned armor accents his form, complemented by a red fur-lined cape. His primary weapon is a dragon-head gauntlet on his right arm. On Earth, he assumes a smaller, compact form while retaining signature horns and cape. Subsequent evolutions alter his appearance: his Thunder Emperor state trades red armor for a purple cape and wields shield and spear. His ultimate Turbulent Warlord evolution features pink-and-red-streaked hair, thrusters, a crown, and energy-charged weapons. His abilities encompass immense physical strength, evidenced by cratering impacts through raw force, and precise thunder manipulation, triggering electrical discharges during emotional surges.
