His schemes backfire when Finis, consumed by fury and sorrow, destroys him with the lethal Song of Mortality.

In an alternate reality, he emerges as Prince Rudo Golt, blond-haired and younger in appearance, serving as Princess Alea Golt’s principled younger brother. Opposed to weaponizing Finis and critical of General Bazra’s economically ruinous strategies, he survives Bazra’s assassination attempt—plunged into a waterfall but rescued by Henry’s allies, Berrow and Snore. The King of Golt’s death fuels his vengeful resolve against Bazra, culminating in his steadfast presence at Alea’s coronation, where he supports her ascension as monarch.
