Lambda serves as the codename for a Team Rocket Executive active in Johto. This operative appears during the Mahogany Town incident, where Team Rocket's remnant faction established a hidden base. Inside, they executed illicit operations manipulating captive Electrode Pokémon to generate disruptive radio waves. These waves inflicted distress upon a wild Red Gyarados, forcibly triggering its evolution and inducing aggressive behavior. Lambda commanded the operation from the base's control room, directing subordinates to intercept intruders. When Elite Four member Lance and his Dragonite breached the control room, Lambda instantly deployed a Weezing to attack using Poison Gas. The assault failed; Dragonite ignored the gas and countered with Thunderbolt, electrocuting both Lambda and Weezing. Subsequently, Dragonite destroyed the control room equipment, freeing the captive Electrode. Enraged by their prior mistreatment, the liberated Electrode collectively directed their fury at Lambda, unleashing a powerful Thunderbolt that struck the Executive. Lambda's known Pokémon is the Weezing used in the attempt to subdue Lance and Dragonite.
