Description
Nemu Emmot, Enri Emmot's younger sister, lives in Carne Village. She has reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, and appears about ten years old. She typically wears woolen clothes and styles her hair in pigtails.

Originally cheerful and occasionally rebellious, Nemu's personality changed drastically after soldiers from the Slane Theocracy attacked Carne Village, killing her parents. She became more obedient, serious, and mature, actively trying to be useful and avoid burdening others. Despite this maturity, she sometimes displayed emotional outbursts revealing her underlying boldness, like during her visit to Nazarick. The trauma also heightened her awareness of danger, leading to quicker, wiser reactions in perilous situations.

During the initial village attack, Nemu and Enri fled into the forest but were cornered by Imperial Knights. Rescued by Ainz Ooal Gown, Nemu initially distrusted his offer of a healing potion for Enri, nearly provoking Albedo. After witnessing the potion's effectiveness and receiving protective spells and goblin horns from Ainz, she began viewing him as the village's savior. This respect deepened during a later visit to Nazarick with Enri and Nfirea Bareare for a celebration. Her genuine, awe-struck admiration impressed Ainz, prompting him to personally offer her a tour and explicitly include her among Nazarick's protected individuals.

Nemu proved observant of interpersonal dynamics, particularly noting Nfirea's romantic interest in Enri well before her sister recognized it. She collaborated with the Goblin Troop to playfully encourage their relationship, amused by their reactions. After Enri married Nfirea, Nemu voluntarily moved in with Lizzie Bareare (Nfirea's grandmother) to give the newlyweds privacy, demonstrating sensitivity and consideration. She assisted Lizzie with village tasks like herb crushing for income.

In the non-canonical Mass for the Dead continuity, after her parents died during an attack by Chaos Beasts, Nemu fled Carne Village seeking help, encountering adventurers like the Swords of Darkness. Despite their aid, Enri was killed. Evacuated to E-Rantel, Nemu initially stayed with Nfirea and Lizzie. She witnessed Nfirea's subsequent seclusion due to work and became Lizzie's assistant. During an orphanage illness outbreak, she hesitated to burden Nfirea but suggested the Fruit of Longevity as a potential cure. Later events, including Chaos Beast incursions during E-Rantel’s Harvest Festival and a city-wide miasma crisis, saw her repeatedly separated from protectors, enduring the disappearances or deaths of figures like Lizzie and members of the Swords of Darkness. These ordeals led to profound grief and survivor’s guilt, culminating in a moment where she desired death before being rescued by Saint Clementine. This act reignited her will to live, partly due to its resemblance to Enri’s sacrifice. She was eventually reunited with Nfirea, leading to reports of her appearing happier.

Her relationships are central. She shares a deep bond with Enri, relying on her after their parents' death and sharing a bed until Enri’s marriage. She supports Nfirea’s relationship with Enri and later views him as an older brother figure. Her innocent praise secured Ainz’s favor, ensuring her status among Nazarick’s protected individuals. She maintains a friendly rapport with the Goblin Troop, occasionally conspiring with them for lighthearted pranks. Lupusregina Beta is tasked with ensuring her survival, though they interact infrequently.

Nemu possesses no inherent combat abilities or powers. She receives a passive stat boost linked to Enri and exhibits an unusually high level of luck. Her influence stems primarily from her genuine, childlike nature, which affects those around her, including powerful figures like Ainz.
