ONA
Description
Chizuru Sawamura is a sixteen-year-old male idol and a first-year high school student who serves as a member of the unit DearDream. He was born on November 11, with a height of one hundred sixty centimeters, blood type B, and is characterized by his purple hair and violet eyes.

Chizuru has an energetic and eccentric personality, marked by an unshakable optimism that defines his interactions with others. He is known for his passionate love of delicious food and possesses the unusual ability to fall asleep effortlessly in any location. His communication style is highly distinctive; he often exclaims his affection for everyone and asserts that he dislikes nothing. He prefers to use Japanese onomatopoeia, such as "waku waku" to express excitement, and his written dialogue is frequently accompanied by musical notes or star symbols. He also has a habit of giving nicknames to his unit members.

His motivations are deeply rooted in his relationships and his genuine enthusiasm for bringing joy to others. Despite his cheerful and seemingly carefree demeanor, Chizuru carries a significant personal history. He has an identical twin brother named Yuzuru, from whom he became estranged. The fracture in their relationship occurred when Chizuru, wanting to help his brother who desperately wished to become an idol, offered his own audition spot to Yuzuru through a twin switch. This act caused Yuzuru to distance himself from Chizuru.

In the story, Chizuru is a member of the idol unit DearDream, and he also forms the subunit WMaskat with his childhood friend, Itsuki Katagiri. Both he and Itsuki come from the same hometown but joined their talent agency, D4 Productions, separately. Initially, Chizuru relies on Itsuki to translate his unique mannerisms and odd speech patterns for the rest of the group. As the first season progresses, he trains with his fellow members Junya Sasaki and Itsuki, and he participates in observing new recruits. His personal background, including his bond with Itsuki and his theories regarding another member, Shin Oikawa's past, is revealed during collaborations with Kanade Amamiya and Itsuki. He demonstrates his team-oriented mindset when he helps Kanade select a song for a joint performance and when he experiences fear at the thought of Shin potentially quitting idol work.

Throughout the series, Chizuru undergoes noticeable development. He begins as a character who is almost incomprehensible to those outside his immediate circle but gradually integrates himself into the fabric of DearDream. The unit evolves into what are described as true companions, and the group dynamic fosters individual growth, strengthening their bond as a team. Even after conflicts like the one between Shin and Kanade are resolved, Chizuru remains contemplative, pondering unresolved meanings behind song titles, showing a deeper, more thoughtful side beneath his eccentric exterior. His notable abilities include his unique and infectious energetic stage presence, his unconventional way of communicating, and his capacity to sleep anywhere, yet his most defining trait remains his consistent, heartfelt enthusiasm and his assertion that he loves everyone.
