Description
Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, known as Shinobu Oshino when weakened, began as a human princess named Laura, also called Princess Beauty. Her extraordinary beauty unleashed a curse causing mass suicides among those witnessing her inner radiance, a tragedy manipulated by a witch. To halt the devastation, she embarked on an endless journey as Acerola.
A purebred vampire later transformed her into the legendary Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade, a name conceived by Deathtopia Virtuoso Suicide-Master. The name holds layered meanings: "Kiss-Shot" references a cursed princess healed by a kiss and the deity Kisshouten; "Acerola-Orion" merges her journey alias with the hunter constellation; "Heart-Under-Blade" signifies her strong yet compassionate nature, directly inspiring the kanji for "Shinobu" (忍) – "heart" (心) under "blade" (刃).
Severely weakened after losing her limbs to vampire hunters Dramaturgy, Episode, and Guillotine Cutter, she assumed a child's form. Her survival depended on high school student Koyomi Araragi, who offered his blood, turning himself into her subordinate vampire. To restore her power and regain his humanity, Araragi retrieved her severed limbs.
In Kizumonogatari Part 2: Nekketsu, her physical form evolved with each limb consumed:
