Description
Mamoru Sakazaki presented a benevolent facade as a human teacher at Hijirigasaka Academy, caring towards students. He maintained this facade while secretly sexually assaulting multiple female students against their will. His history included attempting to get closer to Chisato (Afueria). This pursuit led to his demise when Ornis, a god from the Divine Realm tasked with observing Chisato, killed him. Ornis intervened during Sakazaki's attempted rape of student Rikka Kajiura, causing Sakazaki's death.

Ornis then assumed Sakazaki's identity. Maintaining Sakazaki's appearance—dark brown hair and gray eyes—he infiltrated the academy as an imposter teacher. Ornis's true form featured glowing blue eyes and luminous turquoise-streaked white armor. His personality blended the role of a seemingly benevolent teacher with deep-seated arrogance, sadism, and a belief in divine superiority over demons and humans. He harbored obsessive protectiveness over Chisato's "purity," a motive driving both Sakazaki's murder and his hostility toward Basara Toujou.

Ornis wielded powers including shape-shifting for disguise, telekinesis, energy blasts, tornado generation, teleportation, and mind control. He frequently used civilians as puppets to channel attacks, manipulating students and faculty during the sports festival to assault Basara. His tactics involved deception, framing Chisato for attacks and taking Kurumi hostage for leverage. In confrontation, Ornis severed Basara's right arm but was overpowered by Basara's activated sealed abilities. The battle concluded when Chisato intervened, disintegrating Ornis with an energy blast after he endangered the entire school and threatened Basara.

Background details present conflicting motives for Sakazaki's murder: the anime depicts Ornis saving Rikka from assault, while the light novel cites Sakazaki's proximity to Chisato as the cause. Ornis's fixation on Chisato extended to an implied romantic obsession, driving his actions. His demise resolved his arc, though his manipulations left lasting repercussions on the academy's students.
