Namika Ishihara is the younger sister of Kyousuke Ishihara. A ten-year separation, due to family circumstances, saw her living in Osaka before she finally moved back in with her brother.

Her personality is markedly energetic, open-minded, and blunt, a direct reflection of her Osaka upbringing. She behaves with a cheeky and sometimes shameless manner that frequently serves to embarrass her brother. Her strong Osaka dialect and cultural habits create a stream of comedic situations and misunderstandings with her more Tokyo-accustomed brother.

She exhibits a meticulous, money-savvy nature, habitually hunting for bargains and discounts. This practical pursuit sometimes leads her directly to the restaurant where her brother works.

Despite their differences and the occasional embarrassment she causes, the siblings spend considerable time together. She often introduces her brother to unfamiliar aspects of life and culture, while he takes on the role of showing her around the city.
