Description
Haqua Estoc, the white Sword Eyes of Light from the ice continent Xamuler, journeyed to Atlantia as a merchant selling his homeland's specialty: never-melting ice. Initially projecting a cool, calm, and pessimistic demeanor, he believed changing the world impossible and actively discouraged resistance against Yaiba's regime, concealing his Sword Eyes identity behind special magenta eyeglasses that served as a seal.

As the successor to Vargas Randall, the previous white Sword Eyes, Haqua possessed access to a Xamuler castle housing the Sword Brave. However, haunted by a prior encounter he perceived as a ghost, he initially refused to join the search for it. Persuaded to participate, the removal of his glasses confirmed his status. After Rebel stole his Sword Brave, Kizakura Kukuri battled and reclaimed it for him. Despite initial reluctance stemming from self-doubt, Haqua ultimately accepted the weapon.

Key experiences shaped his development: He rescued Kizakura using a golden kettle capable of melting Xamuler ice after she became trapped during a conflict with Gordy Dain. Subsequently, he battled and defeated Gordy in her stead, displaying an unexpected intensity that surprised observers. His bond with Kizakura deepened significantly; he willingly battled Brau Balm to secure her freedom after the Sword Eyes of Light were captured, an act carrying implied romantic feelings later reinforced by jealousy when Kizakura promised sweets to Sora Ryuyo.

Captured alongside Sora under Yaiba's control, Haqua was forced to attempt capturing Suou Rakels. Amarello Berge intervened, battling Haqua and breaking Yaiba's influence over him. Later, alongside Gordy, he cross-dressed to infiltrate the palace and investigate Garudos Randall. Their investigation uncovered an incriminating video, which Haqua confronted Garudos with directly.

In the climactic conflict, Haqua participated in the ritual to summon the Sword of Judgment and battled Yaiba directly. For the final confrontation with Garudos, he entrusted his card, The Sacred Gaebolg, to Tsurugi Tatewaki while focusing on diverting Stinger units. Following these events, he returned to his business activities.

Haqua utilizes a white charge deck featuring key cards like The SpearLightMachineDeity Kugel-Horn and The SkyLightSword Crown-Solar. His documented battle outcomes include victories over Gordy and Brau, a loss to Amarello while under dark control, and an unresolved battle against Yaiba. His manga portrayal shows him attempting to sell Tsurugi a white deck after observing Bringer's malfunction, carefully avoiding revealing his own Sword Eyes status. After capture and subsequent release by Yaiba, he accepted a position as a royal purveyor.
