Sony, a minor character, is one of three rabbits preserved in formalin in St. Claire Elementary's science room. Revived by the anatomical model Kunstlijk to serve his purposes, the rabbits adopt gangster personas and exhibit fierce loyalty, operating by a code of violence toward obstacles but openness to negotiation for advantageous deals. As the trio's youngest member, Sony becomes ensnared in an incident during Kunstlijk's time machine experiment. Accidentally hurled four hours into the future during a test, Sony's disappearance sparks a relentless pursuit by the remaining rabbits, Fred and Michael. They hold Kunstlijk responsible, demanding Sony's return or vengeance for his absence.
