Kenzou Todoroki is the father of Kakeru Todoroki and the husband of Nana Todoroki, whose family name before marriage was Kisaragi. At Arcadia Academy, he is identified as Kakeru's parent. Kenzou's apparent death during an attack by the antagonist Eraser-01 triggers a profound emotional crisis in Kakeru, directly leading to Kakeru's first activation of the Final Burst ability.
