Queen Euphoria, also known as Royale Queen in the original Japanese version, reigned as the former ruler of Jubiland (or Märchenland). She possesses long, curly golden hair, golden eyes, and pale yellow skin, typically adorned in a frilly gold-white dress and a crown featuring four feathers. Her stature is remarkably tall, nearly reaching ceilings and making human characters appear diminutive.
Beloved as a maternal figure by Jubiland's pixies, she radiated kindness, wisdom, and deep concern for her realm. When Emperor Nogo (Pierrot) and the Shadow Realm (Bad End Kingdom) invaded, she wielded the Glitter Charms (Cure Decors) — the source of her power — to defend the kingdom. These charms were stolen during the conflict, forcing her to expend her residual energy to seal Nogo away. This act tragically petrified her into a statue.
To enable her revival and Jubiland's restoration, she dispatched five magical lights to Earth and sent the fairy Candy to recruit five warriors — the Glitter Force (Pretty Cures) — tasked with reclaiming the charms. Though the charms were eventually recovered, her revival was delayed when she redirected the gathered energy to awaken the constellation Pegasus. This granted the warriors essential "Princess Forms" needed to defeat advanced enemies immune to conventional attacks, further postponing her awakening.
Confined within her petrified state, she communicated telepathically via the Royal Clock, offering guidance and encouragement to the warriors. She revealed her full revival required all 16 charms but confirmed this became impossible after channeling their power to the Princess Forms. She stressed the persistent threat of Nogo's return and urged continued vigilance.
During the final conflict against Nogo's forces, she manifested as a mirage from the Royal Clock to shield Candy, disclosing a long-concealed truth: Candy was her biological daughter, and the Miracle Jewel — believed to grant wishes — was actually an egg nurturing Jubiland's new queen. Euphoria expended her last remnants of power to protect Candy, ensuring her daughter's ascension as the realm's successor. This final act cemented her legacy, transferring guardianship to the next generation.
