Super Akanbee, designated Super Buffoon in the Glitter Force adaptation, is a distinct monster variant born from the fusion of two red noses. This process creates an entity wielding roughly twice the strength of standard Akanbes, emerging when a villain combines multiple red noses during summoning rituals.
Physically, Super Akanbee displays unique traits differentiating it from other Akanbe types. Its design features sharp, angular eyes marked by three red streaks under one eye and three blue streaks under the other. It possesses a full set of prominent, vampire-like teeth. While retaining the general clown-like attributes common to all Akanbes—including exaggerated limbs and facial elements—these specific characteristics amplify its menacing appearance.
In combat, Super Akanbee demonstrates significant resilience and power. It exhibits complete immunity to individual purification attacks employed by the protagonists. Furthermore, it withstands group purification assaults like Tiara Mode Torrent. Offensively, it absorbs or swallows incoming energy-based attacks, rendering standard offensive tactics ineffective.
Defeating Super Akanbee necessitates the protagonists' most powerful combined technique, Rainbow Burst. This specific group attack remains the sole method shown to successfully purify this enhanced variant. Upon defeat, a Super Akanbee releases two Cure Decor pieces (termed Glitter Charms in Glitter Force), contrasting with the single piece yielded by standard Akanbes. This outcome revealed the existence of more than the initially known sixteen Cure Decor pieces.
Narratively, Super Akanbee signifies an escalation in antagonist tactics. Its introduction forced the protagonists to devise new strategies and stronger attacks. The Gingerbread House Super Akanbee exemplifies this variant, created from a fairy tale-inspired gingerbread house and demonstrating the typical properties and threat level associated with this form.
