TV-Series
Description
Vante is an elf-type clockwork automaton crafted by the "Great Alchemist," Cyan. She functions as the mechanical companion to Yuit, a young elf from the Little Elf Forest. Constructed with a humanoid form mirroring a beautiful elf woman, Vante stands approximately 165 cm (5'5") tall. Her typical attire is a traditional maid outfit, featuring exposed robotic forearms and lower legs that integrate visible mechanical components. She possesses blonde hair and green eyes.

Vante operates solely under direct orders issued via a remote control device held by Yuit, resembling a parchment scroll stored in her satchel. Commands written in runic characters on this device control her actions; knowledge of these runes allows anyone possessing the remote to command her, creating vulnerability to misuse. Her movements are powered by a wind-up mechanism utilizing Wizard Stones for extended operation. Communication is primarily non-verbal, conveyed through mechanical cries ("Gaon") and colored light emissions from her body, though she unexpectedly demonstrated standard speech in a Drama CD, surprising Yuit.

Functionally, Vante serves as Yuit's bodyguard, playmate, and tactical asset. Her combat capabilities include superhuman strength, debilitating high-pitched sonic screams, and projectile fist attacks. Her left arm incorporates a hand-rifle and can release poisonous gas from the wrist joint. Additional mobility features encompass hovering and rapid charging maneuvers. These abilities are frequently deployed in defense of the Rebel Army, where Yuit acts as tactician.

Within the Rebellion storyline, Vante undertakes critical missions alongside Annelotte and Yuit. She aids in infiltrating Gainos Castle to rescue Mirim, encountering the Dragon Warrior Branwen during this operation. Later, she is captured by the pirate Liliana, requiring a rescue mission aboard a flying pirate ship. This incident underscores her recurring vulnerability to external control and dependence on Yuit’s protection. Vante also accompanies Yuit and Annelotte during an underground colosseum confrontation beneath Gainos Castle, supporting their efforts to locate the antagonist Ymir.

No concrete information exists regarding Vante’s depiction or development in spin-offs, movies, or other media beyond the Rebellion anime and related Drama CDs.
