OVA
Description
Yamano Jun, an eight-year-old from Machida southwest of Tokyo, joins the warriors' struggle during a Youja attack in Shinjuku while vacationing with his parents. His kind, affluent family—including his businessman father—becomes separated from him amid the chaos, leading warriors and allies to shield him.
Jun's innocent, pure heart proves pivotal, enabling him to handle and activate the sacred Inochi no Magatama (Jewel of Life) without corruption from the Youja World. This purity lets him assist Nasuti in locating and empowering the Jewel, defying his youth.
He bonds deeply with the warriors as honorary older brothers, adopting the self-styled title "Reppu no Jun" (Jun of the Strong/Violent Wind) in their tradition. Jun trusts Byakuen, a large white tiger, often accompanying him. A recurring sight shows Jun gripping Byakuen's tail while skateboarding, merging his hobby with their companionship. His interests include skateboarding, tiger riding, and kendo; he dislikes studying, carrots, and the Youja.
In the OVA "Message," Jun accompanies warriors to Akiyoshido to awaken Sage, journeying with Ryo and Nasuti. He communicates through sign language and shares bonding memories. Amid battles against threats like Suzunagi and corrupted armors, his innocence remains symbolic. Jun's documented role concludes in "Message" as a supportive figure aiding warriors in critical conflicts through his purity, without canonical expansion into later spin-offs or sequels.
