Ruddle, a makemono demon-beast, survives the Kyō-Ō's devastating Light of Judgment at Caesar’s palace. In the aftermath, he joins a band of fellow survivors—Amano Jyaku and the rapidly aging Kyo-O, Himi—to traverse a post-apocalyptic wasteland. The group travels aboard a futuristic tank, bound for Osaka where they intend to confront the Chōjin and decide the world’s fate.

As a companion on this perilous journey, Ruddle accompanies the central characters through hazardous territories and encounters with strange civilizations along the route. His presence is documented as part of the group venturing toward Osaka, though his specific actions during these events remain unchronicled.
