D-9, designated the Genocydroid, is a cybernetically enhanced human operative. He serves the tyrant Caesar as an enforcer, personally executing numerous Makemono rebels during their uprising. After these events, D-9 survives to accompany the infant Kyo-O on a journey bound for Osaka.
