Akemi Itou is a central human character in the narrative of Urotsukidōji. As the girlfriend of Nagumo Tatsuo, the destined human vessel for the Chojin (Overfiend), she becomes the mother of the Chojin. These traits remain unwavering despite surrounding chaos, reflecting "Incorruptible Pure Pureness" that preserves her compassionate nature throughout the story, with the sole exception of monogamous sexual desire.
