Natsuhime Suzaku, student council president, inherits the genes of a mystical Guardian tasked with protecting the city. Her father instilled the duty of continuing this lineage from childhood, but she consistently rejected this obligation, choosing her own path.

As she matured, dormant Guardian instincts surfaced, compelling her to seek out Tougo (Seiryū-kun), who shares similar genes. Her pragmatic goal is procreation to perpetuate the spirit lineage and ensure the city's protection, pursued without romantic interest as a necessary duty.

Her personality is fiercely competitive. Rivalry from others pursuing Seiryū-kun's genes, like Akiha Byakko and Kitami Genbu, fuels her determination to succeed. This competition ignites her resolve where she was initially indifferent, revealing a motivation driven by rivalry.

Despite her tough, assertive exterior, she harbors a crippling fear of spiders, causing panic and contrasting with her strong-willed persona.

Physically, she possesses distinctive blue hair and blue eyes, aligning with her designation as the Suzaku (Vermilion Bird) Guardian.
