Description
Fear Kubrick, originally named Fear-in-Cube, is a sentient Cursed Tool forged during the Inquisition as an instrument of torture and execution. Prolonged exposure to human hatred and suffering granted her consciousness and a human form. She manifests as a silver-haired girl appearing between 12-16 years old, standing 148 cm tall.
Her original form was a solid black cube containing 32 distinct torture mechanisms, including a guillotine (Mechanism No.3), an iron maiden (Mechanism No.26), and a pendulum (Mechanism No.4). Centuries of use in executions inflicted a secondary curse: any possessor would descend into madness, compelled to utilize her for torture. This curse, coupled with violent memories, bred deep self-loathing and fear of her own power.
After isolation in a spider-infested Spanish castle—which instilled arachnophobia—she sought to break her curse. Sent to Haruaki Yachi, whose home neutralizes curses, she arrived in human form. Initially, screams of pain triggered bloodlust, causing indiscriminate attacks when activating her mechanisms.
