Tooru joined in singing "Happy Birthday" to calm the situation, demonstrating early cooperation. Years later, he forgot Futaba's birthday during an argument with Hikaru, causing friction until Min-chan intervened. This event prompted them to create a time capsule with meaningful items at their secret base, cementing their bond.

In the parallel 2D dimension, Tooru manifests as Chou Oji, a three-year-old boy distinguished by his glasses and a cool, self-confident exterior. Despite mature speech and strategic thinking, Chou Oji retains core childish traits and emotional vulnerabilities, mirroring Tooru's complexity.
