Her true role is vice-chairman and acting commander of the heroic Crescent Moons ninja clan, opposing the Noroi Faction. From the command center, she coordinates combat operations and manages the Beat Blades after the chairman's capture. She also spearheads technological development, inventing gadgets and equipment for the clan's fight against crime and the Noroi threat before its present resurgence. Akira shares a significant past as a former Blade and the lover of Takamaru Ikusabe's father, informing her interactions with Takamaru, the current Dragonian protagonist. While dedicated to the clan's strategic objectives, a personal relationship between her and Takamaru remains a possibility under certain circumstances.
