Lync Volan, a Vestal operative within the Vexos organization, serves as their Ventus-attribute brawler. At 14, he stands as the group’s youngest and shortest member, distinguished by fair skin, teal eyes, and pink hair styled akin to Mira Fermin’s. His flamboyant attire features a green fur-trimmed cape, a striped light-blue shirt beneath a black-and-gold jacket, grey fur-edged pants, and buckled black shoes. For covert missions, he dons a flower-seller disguise with a green T-shirt, tan shorts, and an orange apron.
Brash and opportunistic, Lync prioritizes self-preservation over allegiance, taunting allies like Shadow Prove—mocked as “Shadow-chan” in Japanese media—and rivals with equal disdain. Despite a consistent losing streak against opponents such as Dan Kuso and Shun Kazami, his arrogance remains unshaken.
Initially loyal to Prince Hydron as a double agent against Spectra Phantom and Gus Grav, Lync’s allegiances shift with perceived gain. He defects to Spectra’s faction, later sides with Mylene Farrow’s group against them, and ultimately betrays Hydron by stealing data on the Vestal superweapon, the Alternative Weapon System. Motivated by covert affection for Resistance member Alice Gehabich, he hides the data in a discarded glove during his fatal encounter with a Death Ball portal, enabling the Resistance to counter Zenoheld’s plans.
His mechanical Bakugan partners include the destroyed Ventus Altair and Aluze, secondary partner Ventus Wired, and former assets Ventus Fly Beetle and Ventus Atmos—the latter seized by Dan. Notably, he avoids using Bakugan Traps.
Key events span his Alpha City tournament loss to Shun, a brief Earth stay with Alice after failing to defeat Baron, and Hydron’s interception during his data-delivery attempt. Post-New Vestroia, he escapes aboard the Motherpalace with the Vexos but resurfaces in Hydron’s hallucinations, taunting the prince to overthrow Zenoheld. While his fate remains unresolved, his final sacrificial act suggests a presumed demise following his clash with Hydron.
