Movie
Description
Ayumi Kono exhibits an unsociable and calm nature, explicitly disliking violence yet typically following her associate Mio's plans with hesitation. She lives alone, her sister absent on a business trip. During investigations into a series of murders, Ayumi witnesses critical events and warns associates of impending threats. She reveals herself as the perpetrator known as Loups=Garous, responsible for the murders of Kawabata and Nakamura. Ayumi explains this identity represents "a monster that hides behind the mask of being human," transforming into a lethal entity when her own life or the lives of those she cherishes are endangered, wielding a knife approximately six inches long.
Demonstrating this capacity for violence, Ayumi slits the throat of detective Kunugi after confirming his involvement in the murders. Later, she stabs and kills Suzuki, who orchestrated killings to consume victims' internal organs driven by a desire for real meat. Following these events, Ayumi is not seen again. Philosophical reflections emerge during her investigative activities.
