Description
Shizuku Sakurai is the younger sister of fraternal twins Kanade and Yukino Sakurai. She lives with her parents in Hokkaido while her older sisters attend high school together in Tokyo, a separation she deeply resents. Physically, she has dark brown hair and eyes, stands 1.43 meters tall, and weighs 43 kilograms. Her name "Shizuku" (雫) means "droplet."

Compared to her sisters, Shizuku exhibits greater emotional reserve and level-headedness, often internalizing feelings rather than expressing them openly. This suppression occasionally leads to behavioral issues like skipping school. Her primary emotional conflict stems from intense jealousy over the intimate bond between Kanade and Yukino, whom she perceives as consistently excluding her. She harbors a distinct preference for Yukino, viewing her as kinder and more considerate than Kanade.

Her jealousy intensifies during Tokyo visits, where she witnesses their closeness firsthand—observing them sleep together and envying their "lovey-dovey" behavior. After one such observation, she confronts her feelings, culminating in an emotional breakdown where she admits her fear of being left behind and her selfish desire to keep the trio together despite understanding their deep connection.

A turning point follows a conversation with Sakuya Kamiyama, who reveals her own unrequited feelings for Kanade. This prompts Shizuku to apologize to her sisters and spend the night with them, signaling tentative reconciliation. Yet her underlying longing persists, manifesting in subtle actions like hugging Yukino to smell her scent or relishing shared warmth during cramped sleeping arrangements.

Later, she secretly stays with Sakuya, though her reasons remain undisclosed. When Kanade considers extended prep courses that would further limit family time, Shizuku’s disappointment resurfaces. Still, she demonstrates maturity by advising Kanade to prioritize repairing her relationship with Yukino.

Subtle shifts reveal her evolving emotional openness, such as blushing after an unexpected hug from Kanade during New Year’s soba preparation. Her capacity for gratitude surfaces when she gifts Sakuya a photo as thanks for an invitation, indicating growing tolerance toward her sisters’ friend.
