Description
Jung Freud, a Soviet pilot stationed at a moon base, was born on September 12, 2006. She stood 170 cm (5'7") tall with distinctive red hair and green eyes. Her name referenced psychologists Carl Jung and Sigmund Freud.

Initially a rival to top pilot Kazumi Amano, Jung challenged her to a duel shortly after meeting Noriko Takaya and Kazumi during space training exercises, driven by competitiveness over piloting skills. Her confrontational attitude toward Kazumi evolved into mutual respect and eventual camaraderie during combat missions against the space monsters.

Jung operated an RX-7 Machine Weapon nicknamed "Misha." Her pilot uniform differed from others, featuring a magenta and white jacket paired with a red leotard, contrasting the standard designs.

In humanity's final battle against the space monsters, Jung served as a Sizzler pilot alongside Noriko and Kazumi. After Noriko and Kazumi sacrificed themselves to activate the black hole bomb at the galaxy's core, Jung participated in Earth's defense. She pledged to welcome the missing pilots home if they returned. Twelve thousand years later, when Noriko and Kazumi emerged from time dilation effects, a planetary-scale light display spelled "WELCOME HOME." The reversed "E" in "HOME" indicated Jung's involvement in creating the message, fulfilling her promise across the immense passage of time.
