Description
Takayuki Furuichi is a 16-year-old first-year student at Ishiyama High School, standing 175 cm tall with silver hair and gray eyes. His most notable feature is a central bang that acts as a "hot chick detector," rising when he spots attractive women. Born on November 11 with blood type A, he harbors a strong attraction to women and dislikes endless stories.

Furuichi is the closest friend and confidant of Tatsumi Oga, their friendship originating in elementary school. He first approached the newly transferred Oga, persistently following him despite indifference. This culminated in Furuichi challenging Oga to protest his unfriendly demeanor, enduring a one-sided beating but repeatedly standing up until expressing his desire for genuine friendship. This established their dynamic, with Furuichi insisting on standing beside Oga rather than behind him. Their shared past includes the "First Pokopen Incident," an unexplained event involving repetitive chanting of "pokopen."

Amid Ishiyama High’s chaotic delinquent environment, Furuichi functions as the primary source of common sense and rationality. He consistently attempts to dissuade Oga from violent confrontations, preferring diplomacy against groups like the Tōhōshinki. Despite lacking combat skills or supernatural abilities, his association with powerful delinquents like Oga leads others to mistakenly perceive him as a strategic mastermind. This misconception repeatedly endangers him: teachers threaten expulsion for allegedly instigating conflicts, and enemies target him over misplaced assumptions about his influence.

His overtly perverted attitude manifests through wild fantasies and relentless attempts to charm females like Aoi Kunieda and Hilda. These efforts invariably fail, earning him nicknames like "Creepichi" and resulting in humiliation, often exacerbated by Alaindelon’s interference. When women are involved, Furuichi instinctively adopts a "cool" persona, displaying uncharacteristic bravery that worsens his predicaments. Beneath this exterior lies profound insecurity; he secretly resents constant mockery and degrading labels, laughing them off while internally struggling with low self-esteem in a strength-obsessed environment.

A significant development occurs when Furuichi gains temporary power through Devil Contract Tissues. Intoxicated by this strength, he becomes determined to prove his worth and shed his weak image, leading to a confrontation with Oga where he exhibits unexpected resolve and ignores physical pain from the demonic power. During this phase, he reveals his emotional turmoil beneath the "happy mask," equating constant degradation to being "no different from being dead" while showing reckless disregard for his safety. Though short-lived, this underscores his inferiority complex and desperate need for validation.

His family life compounds his misfortune. They misinterpret his chaotic circumstances—particularly after witnessing Alaindelon’s inappropriate advances—mistakenly believing he harbors romantic interest in men. This adds to his daily struggles against demonic threats, Beelzebub’s electric shocks, and Alaindelon’s persistent harassment.
