Description
Chiho Mizumori is a widow grieving the loss of her husband Ryuhei roughly one year before the story begins. This profound loss fuels prolonged sorrow she cannot easily resolve, marked by depressive tendencies stemming from her unwavering devotion to Ryuhei, whom she deemed her only true love. To mask her emotional fragility, she cultivates an outward appearance of resilience and self-reliance while living alone.

Her daily routine centers on studying for an accounting examination crucial to her career. She forms a cautious, friendly rapport with her neighbor Satoru. A spark of emotional turmoil surfaces when Chiho reacts with fierce anger upon uncovering Satoru’s past association with another woman, Kanae. This intensity shocks Chiho herself, hinting at latent romantic feelings for Satoru that clash with her conscious loyalty to her late husband.

Kanae, a married friend in the same apartment complex, identifies Chiho’s isolation and actively nudges her toward new romantic prospects, orchestrating encounters between Chiho and Satoru. Though surrounded by eccentric neighbors and bizarre occurrences, these elements fail to derail Chiho’s core narrative of mourning and hesitant steps toward new connections. Her physical appearance and participation in later franchise entries remain undocumented.
