Ace, a former Babel member and elite Rhodes Island combatant, operates alongside operators like Blaze, Rosmontis, and Scout. He shares a strong bond with Scout and acts as a senior figure to Blaze, assisting Mechanist in her combat training.

During Rhodes Island's mission to extract the amnesiac Doctor from Chernobog's Sarcophagus, Ace coordinates the escape team. He remains loyal to the Doctor despite their memory loss. When Reunion forces led by Crownslayer and Mephisto surround them, Ace identifies Faust's sniper position, directing counterfire that allows Nearl to break through.

As a Catastrophe strikes and Talulah arrives, Ace chooses to hold the line with Guard and Rhodes Island soldiers, enabling Amiya, the Doctor, and the others to escape. He stresses the Doctor's vital role in Rhodes Island's future and advises them to cherish Amiya. Though Ace and Guard survive the initial onslaught, Ace loses an arm. After tending to Guard, he faces Talulah alone. Ace falls to her blade, but his stand delays her long enough for the rescue operation to succeed.

Ace's legacy includes an unfulfilled wager with Scout about a red vending machine salvaged from a slum; Ace believed it industrial garbage while Scout insisted it held value. After both perish, the amnesiac Doctor discovers it contains beer and leaves a bottle beside Ace's shield. His sacrifice deeply impacts Amiya, Dobermann, Nearl, and Medic, strengthening their resolve to continue Rhodes Island's mission.
