Description
Takuto Hasegawa lives a dual existence as a student at both a conventional high school and a hidden magic academy. He is profoundly average in both his academic and magical pursuits, frequently failing exams and requiring retakes. During one such summoning exam retake, his ordinary life shatters when he accidentally summons Tanarotte, a immensely powerful familiar with enough strength to destroy a country, who displays absolute loyalty and affection for him as her creator.

This event unveils his true nature as the "Holy Mother," a unique being possessing the latent power to create gods and demons. This ability threatens the fundamental balance between the celestial and infernal realms, prompting higher powers to consider his elimination. His true power only awakens under extreme emotional distress, specifically when his friends are severely harmed. This awakening results in the uncontrolled summoning of monstrous beings whose cries resemble newborns, an outburst so potent it wounds the high-ranking angel Gabriel and the demon Agaliarept when they attempt to subdue him. A subsequent attempt to erase him from existence is prevented by Tanarotte, who is later revealed to be a fragment of his own soul.

His trained magical abilities are those of a student wizard, including elemental manipulation like creating lightning orbs and fireballs, summoning people, animals, or objects, performing memory wipes, and creating defensive barriers. His ability to summon entirely new life, however, is tied to his status as the Holy Mother and remains largely inaccessible, triggered only during moments of intense emotional trauma.

He is characterized by kindness, patience, and a level-headed demeanor, typically acting as a voice of reason who seeks non-violent solutions. He exhibits a strong co-dependency on his friends, a trait born from a perceived loneliness in his youth. Their well-being is paramount to his stability; losing them can trigger severe depressive episodes or a complete loss of control over his power. He is generally innocent and patient, tolerating the chaotic antics of those around him, though he becomes serious and determined when protecting others.

His relationships are central to his life. He resides with Tanarotte and his cousin, Suzuho Hasegawa, who also attends the magic academy. Suzuho is deeply shy and mute, communicating through writing, but possesses a powerful alternate personality that emerges when her hair is unbraided, granting her the ability to drain magical energy. She holds a strong affection for him. His other companions include Falcé, a powerful sentient magical staff who calls herself the Demon King but accepted him as her master after he defeated her, and his regular high school friend Futaba Kirishima, who has a crush on him but is unaware of his magical life. He also has a mentorship with Eitarou Sakuma, a powerful and eccentric part-time teacher at the magic academy who often involves him in various missions.

A significant development occurs when he is trapped in an alternate reality pocket universe designed to make him commit suicide. In this reality, he never became a magician, resulting in a fatal condition for the alternate version of Suzuho. After her death, he spends nearly a century within this false reality, using science instead of magic to successfully recreate Tanarotte, an act demonstrating profound determination and dedication.
