Description
Emanuela Pollarola, commonly known as Emi, is an Italian girl who met Yokodera Youto two years before the main events at a Japanese church choir. Struggling to express emotions and connect with peers, she faced frequent misunderstandings with adults and isolation from children her age. Youto found her crying after she was scolded for rescuing a rabbit and offered friendship, initiating daily interactions where she gradually revealed her struggles while maintaining a tsundere attitude. Her appearance features pink hair in twin tails with red-and-white striped bows, sky-blue sleeveless dresses, and a distinctive white-and-black striped collar with a yellow cravat.

Emi grew deeply attached to Youto and asked about his preferences for younger girls. Learning he favored twin-tailed girls who spoke in third person and used phrases like "I love Onii-chan," she attempted to adopt these traits despite difficulty. After moving to Italy for two years, she returned to Japan when her father became a university professor specializing in Japanese culture. By then, Youto had forgotten her due to his wish to the Stony Cat statue.

Upon her return, the Stony Cat (inhabiting Azusa Azuki) granted Emi’s wish to embody Youto’s idealized "little sister," complete with a "100% smile." She enthusiastically reunited with him as "Onii-chan," but his amnesia caused confusion. Using the Cat God’s power, she fabricated an identity as Ponta’s sister and transformed the school into an Italian-themed spectacle where Youto was treated as a prince. These wishes caused chaos, including students wearing swimsuits instead of uniforms and unusually lenient faculty behavior toward Youto.

Her rivalry with Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi led to a swimming race where Emi canceled a wish, inadvertently making Tsukiko’s swimsuit disappear. Privately, Emi reminded Youto of his forgotten promise to attend a sports festival with her, stressing its importance. At the festival, Youto confronted her with her past video message, prompting her to discard the Cat God plush and abandon her fabricated persona. Her twin-tail ribbons vanished as she reverted to her natural tsundere self, insulting him as "stupid pumpkin" and vowing revenge for his broken promise.

Later, Emi scattered embarrassing photos of Youto from a bell tower. When he climbed to confront her, she described meeting the Cat God, triggering a crisis where canceling Youto’s childhood wish would send her back to Italy. Youto’s intervention allowed her to stay, and she continued engaging with him authentically without hiding her personality. During a time-loop incident involving the Tsutsukakushi family’s supernatural affliction, Emi identified a hooded figure as an alternate-timeline Youto and helped resolve the temporal disruption.

Beyond the central plot, Emi enjoys cosplaying—a hobby her father encourages by photographing her in various outfits. She often uses plant-based analogies in speech and persistently addresses Youto with affectionate disdain despite their reconciled relationship.
